Cunard Line: A deluxe, twenty-eight page interiors brochure for the AQUITANIA. Although undated, the brochure is from the mid-1920s. On the cover is a wonderful Fred Hoertz painting of the four-stacker steaming out to sea. A portrait and two pages of descriptive text open the brochure, but the highlight is the large interior photos that follow.
First Class views show the Drawing Room and Library, Louis XVI Restaurant, Elizabethan Grill Room, A Deck Foyer, Writing Salon, Palladian Lounge, Long Gallery, Smoking Room, after end of the Smoking Room, Swimming Bath, Gymnasium, Garden Lounge showing A Deck Foyer, Garden Lounge, A Deck Promenade, and a photo collation of the Reynolds Suite. Second Cabin photos show the Lounge, Library, Smoking Room, and Dining Salon.
Most pages contain margin photos of crew members, beginning with the captain and moving on down through the ranks to maids and deck hands.
